It is the vision of Dancing With The King that each participant will explore Elvis’ music and celebrate his music through dance. It is strongly encouraged that each scholarship recipient prepares and performs a show dance routine for the event.

This year we are offering the option to enter Scholarship Heats in the Sunday Competition. Scholarship Heats are ones where the top three couples will earn cash prizes. Scholarship Heats are multidance heats. This means that in Smooth you'll dance Waltz, Tango and Foxtrot and your score will be the combination of these dances. In Rhythm, you'll dance ChaCha, Rumba and Swing. First place $150 Second place $100 Third place $50. In ProAm competitions the total amount will be awarded to the amateur dancer. In AmAm competitions, the competitors will split the prize money.
You may enter a maximum of 4 Scholarship Heats: Smooth ProAm, Smooth AmAm, Rhythm ProAm, Rhythm AmAm. The cost is $50 per couple. If you choose to enter these, you'll need to indicate on the Sunday Competition form your heats. You can pay the fee(s) while registering now.
